   Abstracts



Deadline for submission of Abstracts: April 20, 2006
All participants are invited to submit abstracts of scientific communications that will be peer-reviewed for their possible acceptance. Letters of acceptance will be sent by May 2006. The abstracts of the accepted communications will be in Abstracts Book distributed to all Symposium attendants and will be in a searchable format on the Symposium website, which will be opened one month before the Symposium.

Abstracts can only be submitted electronically through the online system which is avaliable at www.ismc2006.org . Note that abstracts can not be submitted by fax or post. Authors will be guided automatically through the system when submitting the abstract. Please note that the Program Committee reserves the right to select and the finalize the entire program.

Guidelines for Abstract Submission
Please note that the abstract will not be accepted unless the presenting author is registered. You will only be given a confirmation after completing your registration. Please preserve it until the conference. Please read the “Instructions for Authors“ below for submission guidelines. In the event that you can not submit your abstract online, please contact the Organising Secretariat by email. info@ismc2006.org

Instructions for Abstract Submission
Abstracts have to be written in English and should submit by using the online abstract form. The entire abstract should not exceed 280 words. Please see the abstract template for your information.
Abstract deadline is April 20, 2006.

Notification for Abstract Status
Abstracts will be peer-reviewed for their possible acceptance. Some selected abstracts will be invited to be presented as oral communications. The preference of oral and poster presentation should be indicated by applicants on the abstract submission form. The final desicion on the format of presentation, however, will be made by the Program Committee and the authors will be informed about the form of their presentation by May 2006, with relevant instructions.

Presentation Equipment
Data Projector, slide projector and overhead projector will be avaliable in each meeting room.

Poster Presentations
Poster sizes should not exceed 70 cm wide and 90 cm high. A poster number will be assigned to each abstract which will be announced to the first author along with the day of presentation. Presenters are responsible for setting up and removing the posters.
